How do you import an alignment from an OpenRoads design file into concept Station. I was able to find how you import an .alg file but not an alignment from an oprn roads.dgn. I was also not able to find how to export the alignment from the open roads .dgn to an .alg file

OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition: Training & Examples Workspace not appearing
All of the training videos in Bentley LEARNServer for OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition use a workspace called "Training and Examples". My PC is not able to locate the workspace.
The workspace setup video (https://learn.bentley.com/app/VideoPlayer/LinkToIndividualCourse?LearningPathID=112518&CourseId=122423&MediaID=5014696) indicates that the location for the workspace is: C:ProgramData>Bentley>Open Roads Designer CE>Configuration
I found this in my C: drive , but it looks like it's not the one I need for OpenRoads Designer.

Conduit user defined length
Good day,

How do I set the conduit Length (construction) (m) to be equal to Length (User Defined) (m)?
i.e. I cannot type in a length while the conduit is active, I have to move the headwall node to adjust the length (which is not accurate). I could type in a Length (User Defined) but the Length (construction) (m) doesn't get updated accordingly.

Scalable Mesh not texturing raster on surface
Hello,
I'm having issues with draping my geo tagged .tif onto my surface.
I have no problem creating the geometry but as soon as I try to generate my 3sm by texturing my surface with a raster my program freezes.
I can create a STM no problem using the same files but this project is for LumenRT and STM's have poor quality in LumenRt.

[IRSs10] Project Defaults in ProjectWise - Fail to load
We create two Project Default reg files for users to load when in Ss2 or Ss4/10. Using Variables in our workspace, we can load a standard shared XIN or a project specific XIN, if placed in a specific project folder.
In Ss2, the files load correctly. In Ss10, nothing happens. The PW dialog box just sits there. It looks like the button is being pushed to load the REG file, but nothing happens and you eventually have to Cancel. Then, you are presented with a Windows dialog box, which if the REG file exists somewhere locally, will load.
The problem is with the ProjectWise dialog box, but it is loading an InRoads file, so I'm posting here.

[GPK SS10] Earthwork not recognizing ties to existing ground
I am trying to run my earthwork. This isn't a large file. But it seems like every section (every other section if I'm lucky) refuses to process because it says that the outermost line does tie to the existing ground.
It does. I know it does. I've extended the element and trimmed it to the existing ground. I've tried modifying that line to tie directly to a vertex of the existing ground linestring. I've tried adding another line that just traces along the existing ground for a couple of feet to the next EG vertex, but then THAT element "doesn't tie".
I can't remember what causes this.
Does anyone have a fix?
I've attached my GPK, my DGN and my INP.
Please help - they want the earthwork tomorrow by noon.

ORD Earthwork
Does anyone know a way to check the volumes that the meshes are giving? Specifically, I'm looking to verify the area at a specific station. Is there no way to measure at each section to corroborate the EAV report? Also, it seems as though some sections aren't showing the mesh accurately on the dynamic sections, see below. Most sections look fine, but the Project Manager will question this and therefore the integrity of the report.

Project to surface is supposed to go Right but it's actually going left. Not sure why?
I created a template with logic to display different slopes in cut and fill from curb and gutter. I am using components rather than end conditions as shown below

It works for the most part, but at some point, I actually get what is shown below. Rather than sloping upward or to the right, it solves to the left and down. I am not sure why.
The fact that is sloping down does not allow my logic to work.

[ORD2020R3 - ANZ Workspace] - Problem with Cross Sections Stack Top Down option
Hi,
We are trying to update our workspace to 2020 R3 using corresponding ANZ Workspace and have done some tests with CIVIL_CROSSSECTION_STACK_TOP_DOWN = 1 setting to activate the top to bottom cross section arrangement on sheets.
It appears that the cross sections are not positioned correctly on sheets with 1st cross section at the bottom of the sheet as well as the supplied title block attachment way too high on the sheet. Example below:

The same test done using the Metric Workspace works properly.
We have also noticed that the dgnlib in ANZ Workspace (Cross Section Frame Sheet Definitions.dgnlib) is provided in ORD Update 7 (10.07.00.56) schema version.

We have upgraded the dgnlib file to R3 and re-done the test but the same problems occurred.
We have also found that the dgnlib in Metric Workspace is however provided in 10.09.00.79 schema - which is already R3 (well still can be upgraded to 10.09.00.91).
Has anyone experienced these problems? Has the provided ANZ Workspace been updated properly for 2020R3 version requirements?

PowerInRoads SS10 / PowerGEOPAK SS10 will not process Clash Detection
We have migrated to PowerGEOPAK / PowerInRoads SS10 for legacy projects and are unable to run Clash Detection in either? We are able to process clash detection in MicroStation SS10.
Would there be a reason this cannot be performed in the Power platform? I am fairly certain I was able to run clash detection in PowerGEOPAK SS4 a few years ago.

Plot Profile in Reverse
Does anyone know how to plot a profile in reverse? The profile model displays left to right, and the client wants to see the profile as it will be constructed along the main alignment, so I need to plot this profile from right to left on the sheet.

Is it possible to automatically add feature Definitions depending on the layer name?
I have a CAD drawing with lines in dozens of layers. Is it possible to automatically add Feature Definitions to this lines depending on the layer name?
In this case it is a lot of work to add the feature definitions manually one by one.

OpenRoads Designer Profile Table Editor
Hi,
I am using OpenRoads 2020 Release 3 Update 9 - Version 10.09.0091.
I am having an issue with Table Editor tool when I try to edit my profile. Every time I try to add a PVI after of before a PVI, the dialogue box disappear with an Exception Log message. I did not have this issue with Release 2. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if there is a fix. I have attached one of the exception logs. Any help is highly appreciated.

Intersection Modeling - Component Stationing
Is there a command to reference a modeled component to the base centerline so that the stationing is synced?
Example: in an intersection model the radii have their own stationing.... often beginning with 0+00. Occasionally, I export a geometry like this to Land XML for stakeout. I'd like the stationing to be consistent with the main centerline but with offsets. Is this possible?

Editing Profile After "Profile Complex by Elements" has been used
Is it possible to edit a profile after the "profile complex by elements" has been used? I have a proposed bike path profile that needs more PIs added to it. I want two line segments to replace 6 different lines. Is this possible without having to redo the whole profile? I haven't had much luck using the Append profile tool either. I tried using the modify tool-> delete vertices, but is there a better way to add segments or delete lines? Once it is complexed I have all sorts of issues editing it. Any suggestions?

XS_Point_Label_Indicator "X" is TOO big in XS.
What's wrong with the XS_Point_Label_Indicator "X", Why its too big and how/where can I fix. This happens when I generate cross sections and start annotating.

Label driveway slopes in cross sections (XS)
What's the best practice for labeling driveway slopes in XS's (see below on right side of road)
I model terrains for each driveway, is there something I can include in the terrain that the annotation group can grab?
I'm new to ORD and may be missing something simple...

Horizontal Geometry: Replace Reference Best Practices
When attempting to replace the reference for Arc from Element and Line from Element horizontal geometry, I almost always receive the "Element off design plane" error message followed by a complete program crash. This issue results in a considerable amount of wasted effort so I'm hoping to determine what causes this and how it can be avoided. Any tips/best practices would be much appreciated

K value in the profile view is multiplied by 100!!
Any one knows why my K value is multiplied by 100 in the profile view? it should be 39.49 and it shows as 3949.73?

Feature Definitions of template components/points will not synchronize with Synchronize Template tool

using ORD 10.09... tested with previous release 10.08...
in the early stage of a design we prepared number of templates. Now design is almost 100% done and CAD/BIM requirements were changed. We updated and created Feature Definitions for both template points and components. Then in our ITL file we updated components/points accordingly to meet new standards for cad definition but also Volume options and so on.
This is the site project with a number of linear templates, number of surface templates and few corridors. Noe my nightmare begins:
1) even when linear/surface/corridor templates are synchronized with libraries the new or changed feature definitions are not updated in the 3D model. Processing corridors will not help.
2) From the Explorer - Process All Objects - looks to help with random linear templates or surface templates
3) The only way to get FD synchronized is to open every single template drop do dummy edit and apply.
4) No option to do a global template synchronization for corridor/linear/surface templates
5) I have no clue which templates I have already synchronized manually and which are still to be updated /Inroads SS2 - higligted outdated templates with red for corridors at least.)
6) to workaround bullet 5 I wanted to create display rules that highlights elements with specified Feature Definition Name - I have a list of old Feature Definition Names that are not valid anymore.
I guess I missed something. And possibly there is a way to do template update in more organized way. However I am really concerned that FD are not updated with template synchronization and manuall edit of templates are needed.
I will really appreciate your help here. I will also log SR but from my experience we get better support from peers here.
