I have done the terrain import from KMZ to Mx road in SS2 but the same procedure is not working in SS4.

Hi, I am using PowerSurvey SS4, I can open a surface but when I try to view my contours the whole program just closes down. Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? I'm not sure if it is a computer problem or MicroStation problem.

How can I REMOVE all civil data from a model? If I get an error "cannot detach a reference from a managed model", how can I UNmanage that model?
We have a couple of projects that were started in InRoads SS4, then backed down to SS2 when SS4 proved too unstable a platform. However, there are still civil dependency data of some kind lingering around in a number of the projects files, both design references and sheets. This manifests itself most frequently in refusal to detach reference files because of "civil dependencies". We have to keep SS4 loaded on our machines solely for the purpose of detaching reference files...
I want to know know what process I can use to eliminate every shred of civil data from my sheets.
From within SS4, I've tried "select all", then "Deactivate Rules", "Deactivate Reference Rules" and "Remove Rules". I've tried "Drop Element - Application Element". I don't know for certain if any of these is the right tool for the job, and I'm not entirely sure they are working they way "I" think they should. How will I know when ALL civil data/dependencies have been removed?
I'm not going to mess up our design by doing this. I understand the desire to protect civil data from accidental deletion/modification. But there "has" to be some way to take that sort of information out of files that really, really don't need it.

I created a profile for my project using PowerGeopak SS4. When I open the profile report tool, all the grades as stated above read zero. This is only happening on my computer since my coworker attempted to replicate the report with the zeros and did not get the same error. Is this caused by an incorrect setting on my computer? How do i fix this bug?

I try to my best to creat a terrain model from Auto Cad survey 3d drawings of points and lines.There is no clear method or video or guide to do so .If anything is there explain please share with me.I am using Open Rail Designer for this.

When I've used ConceptStation previously and gone to "Visualize" it created the LumenRT .lrt file within the file structure of the ConceptStation project. This kept all the related files together. I have now started using the 10.00.07.27 build and noticed that the .lrt file is now created in a distinctly separate location (C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Bentley\Bentley LumenRT CONNECT Edition\Scenes) unrelated to the ConceptStation project. Is there a setting that can be adjusted so that the .lrt is created/stored with the ConceptStation data rather than locally?

The capuured images are Not exporing to AutoCAD when i use the Export option. Please suggest the Solution

I am trying to import an sewerGems model in to openroads subsurface utility. after import i observe that it is creating multiple Conduits at one connection between the manholes. Please suggest if there are any videos or methods to control the conduits. or i need to make a settings or changes during importing or after importing to see the 3D model with one conduit between manholes.

I am using Line mode for creating offsets of shoulder and footpath strings from carriageway string. I have carriageway offsets from say 10+000 to 11+000. I have carriageway for the total length. Footpath is from 10+055 to 10+955. If I now try to generate an utility services offset to this footpath string, it gives an error of "First associated point not found" / "Last associated point not found". When I modify the chainges to 10+060 to 10+960, the string get generated successfully.
Is the error because of the start / end chainages not being in multiples of 10m or something else ?
This might not be the appropriate place for this topic but since it is dealing with cross sections it is kind of relevant.
I have set up a .pset file and using print organizer to plot aprx. 80 cross section sheet files. After hitting print it is taking over 3 minutes to process a single sheet. Does anyone have any experience with this? Why would it take SO LONG to print a single sheet? The older batch plotting routine in v8i was MUCH faster.
What am I doing wrong???

ORD 10.4/MicroStation Connect
I have been working with ORD Update 4 corridor modelling and have found an oddity in how it processes my corridor. I use a parametric constrain to change alter a display rule that turn on a retaining wall and turns off a fill slope. I am seeing intervals within the wall region that appear to be applying a fill slope.

Has anyone else seen this? How do i resolve the problem?

Has anyone using Connect Edition noticed any improvement in performance with respect to horizontal and vertical civil elements over SS4? We are extremely reluctant to upgrade if the design intent still crashes the system as often as it does in SS4.
I am attempting to modify the Runoff C value for a Land Use item, but I keep getting the alert "Exceeds maximum number of 50 Landuse Items." So I have attempted to delete a Land Use item, but I get the exact same error message. Any help on this is much appreciated!
I am using PowerInRoads V8i. I have created an alignment using the horizontal geometry tools and have added a vertical geometry to that using the vertical geometry tools. I then imported my existing terrain .dtm file to the drawing. When opening a profile view, the existing terrain is displaying. When trying to create a profile, there is no option to choose the existing terrain. Only the default is an option. It is not a matter of extending the field so that I can check the box. The surface is not there at all to choose from. The existing terrain is active. Please help!

I am new to op0en roads and Microstation and trying to model a road section with double rail line. I am trying to add my 2D geometry to the templates , when i drop my template on the corridor it does not follow the already assigned features added as Horizental feature constraints. I have added the assigned the features as External referencs, update the geometry , processed the corridor. I tried every thing but whenever a new feature line such as as bus stop, road separation lane,green patch is introduced the lines does not follow the template smoothly and bumps are created with distorted geometry though it has been defined in the templates. I also assigned the range but no progress.
Any help will be really appreciated.

I'm facing problem while drawing superelevation where I couldn't find the any file in public folder of superelevation. One of service assistant mentioned that go to workspace and select configuration option and then import from it by selecting edit. But I was unable to get configuration option anywhere on workspace.
Could anyone tell me how to get configuration option on workspace to import the SRL file of super-elevation.
In this category in the ITL file all template points that are using the same feature definition are group together under that feature definition category. It would be a great enhancement if you could change the feature definition of all of these points by changing the feature definition there. Does anyone know if this is possible in ORD 2018 R2?

Let, I want to define 5 alternative slopes for filling as below:
Slope 1: To be used if the calculated height is below 2m
Slope 2: To be used if the calculated height is between 2m to 3m
Slope 3: To be used if the calculated height is more than 3m
Slope 4: To be used if the calculated height is more than 4m
Slope 5: To be used if the calculated height is more than 5m
My question is that where do we define these height criteria which is to be taken into consideration by MX to apply appropriate slope.

Does anyone know where "Create Geometry from Template" has gone in ORD 2018 R2. I havent needed it till now and it seems to have been removed at some point? Was it ever brought over from SS4?
