RE: Survey Chains

Codes can remain associated with the points in OpenRoads Survey, same as InRoads. In fact, this is the default. In the Survey settings check the value for "Linear Feature Linking".

By Linking Codes - behaves like InRoads, which is to say that pretty much all editing after the initial processing is accomplished by modifying link codes after

Force Point List Features - behaves like GEOPAK and start codes are only observed during processing. Most other codes such as start curve can still be edited after processing to affect the linear feature.

Also, the Curve Toggle code (OC*) is used to define the start of a "curve", then later you would define another point (Same code) to end the curve. Example, linear begins at point 1 and continues on thru point 2 thru 10. I set point 2 and 4 with the OC* code. A radius curve will be defined by the three points giving the same result as if you had used the start non-tangent curve code. But, if you use the OC* code on point 2 and 9 then a spline is fitted thru point 2 thru 9.
