I have seen many discussions here about rules, but I have yet to see a good answer to this simple question:
Is there ANY way to deactivate rule generation, especially snap rules? These things are killing me.
Pardon me for using an AutoCAD analogy...
When drawing in AutoCAD using constraints each keypoint has glyphs similar to the SS4-878 keypoint glyphs. However, in AutoCAD you can delete selected constraints. Not so in SS4. All I need is to be able to create clean, unattached geometry to use as point controls without having circular redundancies due to a snap rule. Rules are great, don't get me wrong, BUT there are times when they get in the way. I know you can edit the information slightly if you have the forthought of doing so before creating other geometry or complexing geometry. What I would like to be able to do is right click on a snap rule and either remove or deactivate it.
