How can a slope annotation placed at or between Vertical points?
Now it looks like Slope Annotations only works at 3D Annotation Groups. Here however I can't find a way to place one at or between Vertical points.

How to Upgrade the old dgnlibs in Openroads designer created in older version to newer version
Hi,
I have developed all the templates, feature definitions, symbologies and all other files in openroads designer 2019 Release 1 update 7 version 10.07.00.56, now our company has updated to openroads designer 2020 Release 1 update 8 version 10.08.00.88. When I am opening the dgnlib file it is giving the following message. How can we upgrade these files to newer version.

Profile from Surface - Quick Profile from Surface
I am new to ORD and am testing the tools I used in SS4. Profile from surface/quick profile from surface appears to work only if you created your linework with the geometry/horizontal tools. (not the drawing tools) Is this correct or am I missing something?

Drawing Profiles from COGO from alignments & profiles exported from 3D tools
I was exporting driveway alignments and profiles to COGO from 3d linework, and I had this issue when I try to draw the profiles from the COGO using the old tools, it will freeze up on me.
What I'm thinking is somehow the alignment and profile are not linked together which causes the old tool to crash? Has anyone experienced this same issue?

es la mejor manera de que el acceso sea común y seguro. Si el Workspace (con todos sus datos asociados) están en nuestro PC el acceso es rápido pero no puedo acceder desde otro PC ni es un lugar seguro

Open Roads Connect Task Navigation Gone in Latest Update
I just updated to 10.08.00.88. I had done the work around stated here so that my hotkeys would work properly and I could have my TopoDOT tool bars and my copy, move, add/remove vertices all at once without having to change from one tap to another. The task navigation listed here https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/24481/how-to-display-the-v8i-style-tasks-dialog-in-microstation-connect-edition-till-update-12 No longer seems to work for OpenRoads. The task naivation dropdown in Microstation seems to work but I need to be able to do my work in Openroads to incorporate survey data. Can't Bently just leave well enough alone?

Add station equation - different prompt within same file
Having an odd issue where the tool "Add Station Equation" is giving me two different prompts within the same file.
The first alignment was imported from an XML file and is giving me "Ahead station must be preceded by name"
The second alignment was designed directly in the file as is giving "Region Values must be excluded"
I want the second option, my design file settings are set to "By Index" for the Equation field.communities.bentley.com/.../Align.dgn

Triangulation Between Hydro and Topo Survey Data
I have a multibeam bathymetric survey and LiDAR around a caving stream bank, and the reality for most of it is that the bank probably has formed temporary shallow "caves" for much of it, though some probably did collapse between the two different survey dates. When triangulating the points, ORD seems to be picking the shortest trianulation path for the XY direction, and ignoring the Z direction, creating these "spikes" instead of a nice smooth terrain.
Is there a way to adjust how the TM triangulates to adjust most of these, and perhaps identify which points need to be removed to account for subsequent micro-failures in the stream bank?
Otherwise I suppose I'll have to manually clip down the earlier data set POD file before extracting both to create the Terrain Model.

I have a centerline with profile and an existing EOP with profile. Is there a tool/process to project a profile onto a proposed EOP that uses the cross slope of the centerline to existing EOP?

SUDA Extract Graphics from Utilities Help
I am in the process of learning SUDA and trying to 3D model our existing utilities to create cross sections with utilities easier. I had 2 questions:
- I watched the video linked below and it seems that a lot of the feature definitions that were already set and created which included thickness and types of utilities. Is that something that comes with the software and needs to be loaded in somehow or do I need to create them? If so can someone give some help on how to go about that?
- I noticed that when doing a vertical offset from the existing terrain there are some places where it spikes the pipe up due to the way its triangulating and creating the surface. Is there a quick way to smooth out or do a best fit option?

COMPONENT QUANTITIES WON'T DISPLAY CUT/FILL VOLUMES
I am having an issue with the Component Quantities command. It will not display a Cut/Fill volume. All of my coworkers are able to get this function to work so it seems as if I've got a faulty config variable or something. I'm processing my corridor in a 2d file, my feature definitions are set to design and existing appropriately, I'm even using my co-workers templates as a test. I can open their file and it will report the volume. I've went so far as to have my co-worker sit at my desk and build a corridor exactly the same way he would and it still will not report a volume from a new file made on my machine. Anyone have a clue what may be causing this?

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
I've got a complex terrain model I'm maintaining in PowerInRoads V8i SS10 on a Windows 10 machine. Upon opening the dgn, I get the following error:
I've reinstalled the .Net Framework and scanned the registry for errors.

openroads designer dgn save to lower version
Hello everyone,
please suggest how I can save my DGN in lower version in openroads designer.
DGN is prepared in 2020 release 1 and its not opening in 2019 release 2 so please suggest how I can covert it to it's lower version so it will also open in lower version of openroads designer.

Horizontal Feature Constraint not holding the feature definition I set it to be
Hello-
When I set my Horizontal Feature Constraint to be a feature definition of Matchline (or anything else), it always defaults back to Bridge Abutment. Even though when I use Matchline, it does adjust my corridor the way I want it to, and does not when I use a horizontal line with a feature definition of Bridge Abutment. So anyone else working in this file would automatically assume the program is looking for a bridge abutment feature, when in actuality it is responding to what I keyed in, a Matchline. Is this a bug? I noticed it in my own templates as well as the delivered as shown below. Any ideas?

Is it possible to assign an english design standard to a metric model?
My model file is in metric, but the design standard I want to utilize is in english units. I'm trying to determine if my geometry meets AASHTO design standards for a 25 mph road. My project is in the states. I have access to the Indian and UK standards. If anyone knows of the appropriate metric design standard I should utilize in place of the AASHTO design standard mentioned above, then I would appreciate the information.
