I have issue in PowerCivil SS4 08.11.09.878 after upgrading from previous version 08.11.09.845 with earth works calculation.
In general reporting of components in XML format. Why it is not working?
In some calculations, its showing only totals for fill or cut.
Example below showing xml file where fill volume is ignored in totals.
I hope to get answer to this question.

I am importing old GEOPAK Drainage projects into SUDA. When doing this none of the Feature Definitions and most of the properties need to be updated. I have to manually change all Feature Definitions and most of the properties in the Utility Properties which can take a long time for a big project. Is there a way to just update one node and SUDA recognize all nodes with the same Feature Definition and update them automatically?
Somehow, one of my sheets has developed a 3D model - probably in response to some kind of design data interaction (I haven't worked on this project in months). It's empty, there are no graphic elements in it at all. I'd like to get rid of it. InRoads won't let me. I get the message "You cannot Detach or Delete the ThreeDSpace of the Active model. The operation is cancelled."
Why...? I can appreciate that this is probably important for Design models in design drawings. I'm in a sheet model, with no design model in the DGN at all. Heck - the "ThreeDSpace" is a sheet model (somehow).
Why does the operation cancel itself? Why not just have a warning, telling me I'm about to detach the ThreeDSpace, am I sure? Why do I find myself blocked from handling my models as I see fit, and why is the software not letting me do my job?
This ThreeDSpace model keeps getting in my way...It shows up any time I create a PSET, and I have to remember to delete it. It wants to be the "default" model whenever I need to attach this file to any other drawing. I've had engineers ask me what it's for, thinking they need to do something with it. It's serving no good purpose and creating extra work.
Is there ANY way to detach, delete or deprecate this unwanted model so that it no longer exists in my plan set?

How to see the alignments?
I am using GEOPAK V8i SS4
When the tabular data is populated I get the following Horizontal Start Direction (62^22'38'')
I need it to be 242^22'38'',
i.e. 62^22'38'' + 180^
Is there any way I can change the base angle from where it starts measuring?
HI! I'm an engineering student and I'm using the software OpenRoads for academic purposes.I have a question about how to link to the model some types of attributes.Can I link to my project information on the characteristics of flooring materials, safety barriers and other types of non-graphic attributes? In wich way?
I tried to use item types and OLE (utilities) but I can not use them.
I am facing some issues regarding attaching and detaching model files in MX Road.
i) Survey model file after importing shows all the levels(numeric form after giving them reference) instead of points only which makes it difficult to see the existing road edges and centre line.
ii) After displaying other models, the survey model gets displayed in each and every model file like it gets freezed in the screen which makes it more difficult to draw alignmnets.
iii) Even after deleting survey model, still it is displaying on the screen.
In the photo below i have deleted all the models but still survey is showing on the screen.
In InRoads Survey, we found it was sometimes necessary to reload a field file. We could delete part of a field book and reload the file. How is that accomplished in OR Survey?
When running a horizontal geometry report, the information does not display correctly. See screenshot below. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've modelled the surface to have a constant superelevation on either of centerline but the actual surface that is produced shows otherwise. I also am not sure why I have so many components/points on the surface cross sections. I modelled it to only have one on each side of the centerline. Does any anybody know the reason? I want the surface to look like the cross section shown in the first picture above.

Hi ,I have a query regarding the text rotation setting in the named symbology manger.
I have created a survey feature style in the native style manager. From this i then create a symbology for text, this is done under "plan text" in symbology manager with an absolute angle of say 45 Degrees.
The issue I have is the resulting text is not rotated by the specified value ie. 45 Degrees.
Looking into the .xin file in notepad I see the rotatation value is stored in Radians (0.7) However when it is read back and the rotatation value is applied it treats the value as being in degrees ie. it rotates the text by 0.7 Degrees and not by 45!.
I have units set to DD.MMSS in design file settings and under Survey Options.
would anyone have any idea what setting I may have missed? or experienced this issue before?

I am using Power Geopak SS4 and I am trying to use the Plan & Profile Generator to cut sheets. I need the plan view to follow the centerline of the road and it needs to have the left ditch and right ditch profiles underneath on the same page. This is for drainage P&P sheets, I already have a roadway one for the centerline of the roadway. Does anyone know if this is possible? When I try it's asking for the plan line to be the same as the profile. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi - I'm using OpenRoads SS4 and hoping to use a civil cell for the intersection of a construction site access road onto an existing "rural" road.
The supplied "Entry Turn Ln LHD" is a good start, but it seems I need an acceleration lane for vehicles entering onto the rural through road (essentially I need to mirror the entry turn lane and extend it)
Can anyone point me toward a civil cell that would do this? Or advise how to add the acceleration lane. I'm pretty new to ORD, and ver y new to Civil Cells.
Any advice/help much appreciated.

Hi I am using Power InRoads and trying to use Drafting Tools to "Place Plan Note" in my plans. I am not able to change the length of the in-line leader. Does anybody know how to do this?
Every time we go in to the Text Editor menu, click on the Insert Field button and pick Element Properties and then choose a point OpenRoads locks up and shuts down. This issue only effects 2D points. We receive an error message that reads "Unable to cast object of type 'Bentley.GeometryNET.DPoint3d' to type 'System.Byte[]."
3D points do not have this issue. They have other issues of their own. When attempting to place a label on a 3D point we choose the label and dimension style, pick our alignment (we want an alignment offset value as part of our label), pick our point and the label appears with most of the fields filled in (not all, the label name and other information is not properly filled in). The next problem is that when we click a data point to except, the text size of the label enlarges by a factor of approximately 100 and the fields that were populated before are no longer populated. If we highlight the label text and go to its properties and set the "In Annotation" to False the text drops in size to being closer to the desired scale but still not quite right and when we change it back to True the text remains the same smaller size.

When trying to place a node with a split on an existing conduit my computer just crashes when I finish the command. Does anyone else have this problem or have a solution? I'm using Power GEOPAK v8.11.9.832.

If I have an alignment 1 with its corridor 1, could I change the alignment 1 for another alignment, similar but different, and the corridor 1 could be automatically modified acording to the alignment 2?
Or if a corridor is created based on an alignment, we can modify the alignment but we can`t change that alignment for another one, don`t we?

Iv just installed ConceptStation version 10.00.06.47 and have created my first conceptulization but my screen is always black until i click the backstage button in the top left. When clicked i can see the terrain and aerial imagery of what i want to work with but as soon as i go back to the model the screen goes black again. So the information is there, i was wondering if there was a layer i had to turn off or if its something to do with a driver?
Iv tried all the layers, selecting the elements, multiple models, restarting. But nothing changes. Any ideas would be appreciated.
