Buenos días, tengo entendido que en ORD CE update 2, es posible en las vistas de perfil de alineamientos, referenciar objetos del modelo como, por ejemplo, un puente desarrollado con OBM y ver así el encaje sobre el perfil, cual es el procedimiento a seguir?, entiendo que si eso puede hacerse sobre una vista de modelo de perfil, también puede hacerse en los planos, si es así, cual sería el procedimiento?

Drawing Seed Files in Open Roads when work in on Project wise
Hi,
i have been trying to produce a longitudinal profile from my Open Roads model which is in project wise, but the drawing seed file is not showing up on the drop down `Drawing Seed` when i am in Drawing production menu. If the file is on my computer/server the drawings seed files are there by default. I have tried to import the DrawingSeed and PageLayout files, but no result has happen when i try again, i still have the following:
could you please advise how to resolve this issue?

Extract 3D lines from pipes
Hi guys
We have an OpenRoads drainage model, and I want a 3D line extracted from the bottom of the outside wall of all the pipes. I am a Civil 3D user, I know how to extract a 3D polyline from a pipe network, but cannot find how to do it in OpenRoads. Can someone please help.

Plan Annotation Group - PI Back and Ahead Tangent Line
Hello all!
In the Plan Annotation Group, is there a way to set the PI Back and Ahead Tangent lines to stretch from the PI to HC HPI to the PC, PT, etc. Obviously there is a line length setting, but it would be great if you could set the line between these points.
Just curious, we can work with it either way

Subsurface Utilities - Applying slope to a Flared End Section node
Can this be accomplished? When I place a node and apply one of the Flared End Section feature definitions, the flared end section is displayed as flat in the horizontal plane. This is a problem if I have a shorter culvert at a significant slope.

Last month I have Projectwise ss4 and microstation ss3. everything work fine, I recently upgrade to microstation ss4 and now I can not open the files in my projectwise anymore.

I open projectwise, double click on the file and got this message (see attach file)

Georgia DOT Setup and Symbology Issues
I am setting up the Georgia DOT Inroads and Microstation files for a project we have. Everything has thus far been fairly smooth. I have loaded their XIN and I have processed some raw survey files. My coding and linework looks to be working great. My problem is some of the symbology appears to be missing. Some items are plotting such as traffic boxes, but many items are not showing a symbol such as storm and sewer manholes. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks for any help.

Inroads SS4 plotting Profile
I am using InRoads SS4 V6.00.07. I am used to InRoads SS2 and creating and plotting the profile was easy. I got to the point where I can design a vertical alignment but how do I show the profile? I need to be able to show the profile in sheet format (for submission) and dgn format for review purpose.

[IR/OR Ss4] Do we need Generic Feature Definitions.dgnlib to run InRoads Ss4 with Open Roads?
We have setup extensive SUDA features and Element Templates along with other Features and Element Templates. We found we could define CIVIL_CONTENTMANAGEMENTDGNLIBLIST in our workspace to eliminate its features from the Libraries list.
But the variable MS_DGNLIBLIST is used before and after the appl\subsurface.cfg file is read, making it seemingly impossible to strip that DGNLIB from the final value so its Element Templates cannot be selected by a user.
As far as I can see, we would have to edit the cfg file which we are warned to never do. I looked at trying to define MSSUBSURFACE_APPDIR before the appl folder is processed, but that would only cause some processing to be skiped and would point too many other things to some false directory.
Of is it an essential part of SUDA and if so, is that explained anywhere?
Please fix these things before you issue the last planned fix for Ss4!
Get things out of the MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST and put them in the _USTN_SYSTEM_GUIDGNLIBLIST so they don't appear in the Customize > File menu while you are at it.
Only Reguired System DGNLIB's should be in the Program Files folders. All others belong is ProgramData where the workspace is for us to modify.

Corridor section viewer not displaying x-sections
Someone else has posted this exact same problem with a solution from the Bentley developer. My problem is that I can no longer view my corridor model within my cross section viewer. It just simply will no longer show up. The 3D components are in the 3D model and when I hover over them, they highlight within the viewer, but nothing else shows up. I read in the other discussion that my cross section model has someone become corrupt and that the only fix could be done by a developer. I really hope that Bentley could provide a fix for this as I have spend a lot of time creating this model and would really hate to re-create it.

Non standard survey coordinates
Hi All,
I have a survey which is not standard geo-referenced. When using geographic tool, the location pointing to far away from the real location. Surveyor used a local monument as origin. My question is: how can I re-geo-reference the data to the standard coordinate system? If possible, can I generate the coordinates for construction data back to the currently monument as origin?

cu-fill volume for an area
Hello , I would like to ask you something about an exercise i need to submit. I have a polygon area (wth the coordinates) and i have also the contours of a bigger area. I want to find the cut and fill volume by giving the topsoil elevation. Where i will have cut and where fill as a volume report. I wil start with the surface. I will create the surface and I will do the traingulation. correct? what should i do next in order to get the quantities?And something else if it is possible to produce a map with coloured cut anf fill areas.

After following the procedure to create a custom WorkSpace on the server and watching the corresponding video on doing so, I create a new WorkSpace, and a different config file is created. Not the config file that copied from the delivered Imperial Standards.cfg. Has this procedure change since the latest update?

I have exploited almost all the functions in the site modeler but still get stuck about how to obtain the varying side slope there. Profile missing after changes to alignment GEOPAK SS4 08.11.09.878
We had a proposed horz alignment and an associated proposed vert alignment. We made changes to the horizontal by dropping the alignment, deleting some elements and then adding new elements then re-chaining. once we did that the proposed vert alignment disappeared. Did it disappear because we deleted lines and curves and added new lines and curves? If that's so, can I export the vert from a backup copy and somehow import it into the new file?

[IR/OR Ss4] Using Create Template Geometry on Feature Definitions - Getting Unusual Results
I created a simple corridor and after placement, changed the settings for the Edge of Road and Edge of Shoulder Feature Definitions to enable Create Template Geometry.
Both are using native styles from an XIN for Plan and 3D. Actually, they are using native style for any place it is allowed.
After making these changes, I reprocessed the corridor and turned off the 3D reference file in the 2D view.
The 3D view displays the 3D features on the correct levels - C-ROAD-EDGE and C-ROAD-SHLD
The 2D view is displaying the 2D linework using the symbology defined in the Default Feature Style.
I consider this unexpected and unusual. Is there some explanation of what I am seeing?

ORD Annotating Horizontal Alignments
I've recently updated to version 2 and I was working to revise a past alignment and the annotation tool does not seem to work (tics and pi show but the text is the alignment name). After some review all of the text favorites needed to annotate are missing. I can see them in project explorer in the dgnlib file but they do not transfer to the active dgn file.
