Turn on Style Lock.
When off, the styles can be defined in the View Drainage dialog box and saved in a Preference. When on, the Styles saved in the SDB are used. Also, you can assign styles in the i_structures.dat file so that as design elements are selected, the styles are automatically placed in the SDB file. It is even possible to define "existing" and Proposed elements in the i_structures.dat file so that when displayed in plan, profile or cross sections, the symbology between the two "states" are different.
