I need to drape 2d dgn lines and curves onto Geopak TIN file? I found the tool but sure about the settings and workflow. Did a search of the Geopak help files did not produce results.
The work is very distilled below:
1. Client provides source files which consist of:
a) V8i 2d topographic survey files.
b.) Geopak TIN files.
Client wants SS4 single file 3d survey deliverables.
This sounds like you could get into "trouble" with vertical translation of graphic based data onto a TIN file surface. There are a few settings on the tool dialog that I cant find explanation for. I have to believe the tool settings are very critical for the success of this process. Can someone explain the tool box and various settings? Our client is going to want a fairly detailed explanation of the work flow and might build a "best practice" type process for going forward on future projects.
