Derek, interestingly, I'm working on a training presentation and just documented some things that I understand to be true. This is for InRoads SS2, and my next activity will be to confirm this for ORD.
1) Points are placed per Template Point Constraints
2) Any Parametric Constraints are then applied
3) Style Constraints are then applied
4) Point Controls are applied overriding Constraints
- Point Control Priorities are applied if they exist
5) Component Display Rules are then solved based on the current point positions
6) End Conditions seek their Targets and are solved
Basic Point Control Processing Sequence:
-> Template Constraints
-> Parametric Constraints
-> Style Constraints
-> Point Controls
-> Superelevation
