Well, the corridor certainly extends to the ends of the reference line. The template drop, however, terminates 0.033 feet short at both ends (give or take).
The problem with the shorter template drop, of course, is that the corridor point control stops with the template, so the very ends of the corridor are uncontrolled. Thus, the controlled template point gets drawn at it's default values, creating artifacts at either end. It looks this way when I build the cell and when I place it.
That is the problem, as clearly as I see it. Why the template doesn't extend to the ends, however, is a mystery.
Edit: I should mention that if this is expected behavior, it should have a ticket opened on it as a bug. It really doesn't look good when I try to use it in a model.
