I'm trying to apply a linear template to a line, but for some reason, the template drop stops just short of the ends of the corridor.
When applying the template, I've tried keypoint-snapping the ends of the line for the start / end of the template, as well as locking to start / end. Both methods produce the same result.
The problem gets ugly when I try to use a point control to taper the template to a zero width. As seen in the image, near the end of the template drop, the point control fails and the template then tapers back out to the fixed horizontal position of the point, because the template drop doesn't extend completely to the end of the corridor:
