Yes I'm sure it's not the interpolation at curves or a template error. The shifting is happening on straight tangents at even station cuts and the amount of shift varies throughout the alignment.
I've narrowed it down to having something to do with using features marked as secondary alignments to control points. If I turn off the secondary alignment part it doesn't appear to cause the shift, but then my curbs aren't modeled correctly. I have now tested making each curb return into an alignment and using that for control and it doesn't appear to cause the shift that way. I was hoping not to have to make a new alignment out of every single curb return thus why I was housing them in a DTM as features, but it appears to cause issues that way.
