I've been working on a civil cell and am basically finished--I was, last night, but realized I should make a couple more changes. I made those changes, but forgot to drop the cell and re-create it.
In another file, as soon as I click the tool to place a civil cell, even before I select the cell to place, I get an error: "Civil Cell is Invalid and cannot be placed." At this point I realize that I need to cancel, drop the cell and bring it back up. But that's true of only one file in my civil cell libraries list, the one that just so happens to be the one most recently selected. (I assume that if I'd most recently placed a different civil cell it would have been fine.
Yet when I click OK to advance, hopefully to generate the list so I can look at other civil cells. It never gets past this error message coming back up.
Now, I have the advantage of knowing exactly which civil cell is broken. Not everyone will. I might forget which civil cell is broken if I'd made those changes and hadn't confirmed that the civil cell remains valid (a behavior that may be considered sloppy by some, I grant you, which is among the reasons I decided to confirm). Or if someone else was using my computer for a fairly simple task of placing this one or a different civil cell.
As for the .NET Framework error, I see the window only after the first click of OK, but as I click successive OKs, it looks like I have time to click to get the details, but as I click it, nothing drops down to show me more details, so I can't report on that.
