Creating an existing drainage system with referenced inlet/pipe nodes.

I have referenced in an existing SS system (2D and 3D) and I need to use ORD's Drainage & Utilities tools to model flows, existing drainage areas, and generate a report for the existing structures. I can't seem to generate catchments or use the referenced structures at all, even though all the inlets and pipes all have 3D properties (elevations, inverts, etc.). Can I use referenced nodes to run a system?

Why is ORD adding a prefix even though it is set not to?

When I go to the Manage Sheet Index dialog, in the Sheet Numbering Controls: I see all of my options set exactly as desired. Specifically, "Sheet Number Prefix" is set to blank, no values entered in there. When I add sheets to my index, it adds a "A" prefix. Any idea where I am going wrong? Still learning the ins and outs of Sheet Index.

Hi All,

Due to my project need I need to change the secondary reference of Civil cell without disturbing the reference set previously, is it possible to do this in ORD, I'm using ORD 2023 version. Kindly, refer to snip attached below for your reference.

[ORD 2022 R3] Cross Section Cut with Terrain Model File Display Off - How Can This be Fixed?

After I cut a set of sections, I discovered the 3D model had the display of the Terrain Model file turned off. I went to the source file and turned it on, but in the sheets and the drawings, the reference settings are unchanged. How do you fix this without having to open every Drawing model.

Where should company standards (Feature Definitions/Symbologies, Civil Cells, etc) be saved?

I'm tasked with organizing and managing my companies Bentley platforms, we're a small company so this is not my only responsibility. I'm trying to wrap my head around the proper file structure. We have been using ORD for a few years now and are beginning to develop our own feature defintions/symbologies, civil cells, etc that we would like to have available on all projects. I'm just not sure where the appropriate place to store these is. Currently I have developed a template workset that has these saved as DGNlibs and named them such that they're easily recognized when they show up in the drop down lists inside ORD. Is this the best way to do that? Because we are a small company, we do not operate in ProjectWise, and use a shared network, which means any time our clients update their WorkSpace I have to refresh it on our network and manually copy/update our worksets to the new workspace, which seems very inefficient, but is that the way it's supposed to be?

If anyone has a learning path or resource to help explain workspace administration, that would be very helpful, most of the forum posts and videos are either too simplified or go way over my head.

OpenRoads Volume Calculations within a localized area/boundary

Is there a way to calculate the volume between 2 surfaces within a specific boundary?  For example I have a huge site (green triangles not the entire site as I just clipped this picture) that I'm working on but within that site a small parking lot (orange site lines & white triangles) is going to be built.  Before construction begins the entire parking lot area will be stripped down 16' to remove topsoil.  So is it possible to calculate the "topsoil" volume?

I took a quick cross section from left to right to hopefully explain better.  Top green line is existing grade.  Geotech investigation has determined that there is on average 16” of topsoil on this site.  We took the entire surface and dropped it 16” which is the 2nd green line below.  The orange line is the proposed site grading but before that gets constructed the green hatched area (assumed topsoil) must be removed.  So, within the boundary, total area to be disturbed (red line) is where all the topsoil needs to be removed first.  Before in inroads you could compare multiple surfaces within a specific boundary/shape.  Is this possible?
