Is there a way to update a Saved View associated with a Named Boundary when a vertex of the Named Boundary needs to be moved?
I modified a plan view Named Boundary vertex, but the sheet model did not change the clip boundary of the references.
Or must I recreate the Drawing/Sheet models? I have made added many notes to the Drawing Model.
I am using ORD 2022 Release 3 version to model the subsurface utility conduits and trench for each conduit. I changed the "Create Trench" option under properties of the utility conduit to "True". It does display a rectangular corridor for the trench, but the template is missing. Are we expected to create our own template under the trench corridor or is there a step I am missing here that automatically assigns a default template? I went through some available videos where the trench corridor is created as soon as the create trench is checked to true. Any help/instructions to have this automated would be highly appreciated.
My drainage pipe lengthened, but the attachment of the drainage file to the Named Boundary file does not show the correct 3D cut as it is in the drainage file.
What am I supposed to do to fix this?
I'm doing the Bentley training, specifically Exercise 3 : Getting Ready to Design the System (bentley.com) and when I try to change from a Analysis to Design scenario, it constantly crashes when it gets to the Catch Basins in the dialog box. Has anybody else experienced this?
I have been trying to obtain some quantity calculations from ORD. I created my plan-named boundaries at 1km intervals from start to end, ran the cut and fill volumes, and took the report from ‘Quantity by Named Boundary.’ I selected the named boundary I created and obtained the results. I tabulated the km-wise results and calculated the total cut and fill volumes.
For verification, I tried to calculate the volume by using the ‘None’ option while taking the ‘Quantities by Named Boundary,’ assuming it would aggregate the volumes for the entire design file (DGN). However, the total volume calculated with the ‘None’ option is not matching the sum of the individual segments – particularly, the fill volume is about double what I expected.
There is no overlap in the named boundaries. Moreover, when I select the blue ‘fill’ graphics, they display a quantity in the properties window identical to that obtained with the ‘None’ option. Can someone please help me trouble shoot the problem?

Having some issues with a drainage file and so I decided to make a new one. In the old one, I had created custom drainage structures with their own Feature Symbologies and Feature Definitions that are available within ORD. I read in another discussion that it was possible to import/export the Feature Symbologies and Feature Definitions by adding a configuration variable, Got all that done and have xported but when I try to import, I notice this error come up and all the imported Feature Symbologies and Feature Definitions are basically blank.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I am doing them manually at this point but I would like to find a solution around this so that I can import these custom structures into upcoming projects if needed.

Using ORD 10.10.21.04, I'm trying to produce a profile sheet. I'm not sure how much I need to share about my workflow, but I'll try to be accurate.
In the profile model in the geometry file, I see this:
For the same curve, this is what I get in the drawing model for the sheet.
For just a moment in testing, I did successfully get the following, and as I'm writing some documentation on the topic, I committed to my documentation what I thought led to this success, but in additional testing I have not gotten this again more than maybe once more.
Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Between 1 and 4, in testing, I've tried annotating the vertical geometry in the geom file and I've tried removing the same annotation. I'm not sure what else I need to try.
Can anyone else verify this issue that I'm having? ... The Move Vertex and Insert Vertex tools on the Edit Model (Terrain Editor) toolbar are not displaying the toggle option to Use Original Elevation. These options have always had a problem appearing when these tools were first selected, but usually, by closing and reopening the tool eventually those options would show up. But I cannot get these options to open in ORD 2023 regardless of what I do. The Bentley ORD online Help indicates that these tools are supposed to still have that option … so … where are they? I've attached a snapshot of an earlier version of that tool where the option was available, but I can't get to it in 2023. (FYI, I logged it as Request CS0194028)

I have created element template dgnlibs, feature definition and symbology files in openroads designer and I map feature definition to feature symbology and feature symbology to element templates one by one and it looks ok in the dgnlib files, but when i created a new project and import survey data my feature definitions are ok but the symbology files are not conecting it to the element template files, what could be the reasons i have checked the configuartion variables also. Appreciate your earliest response.

I am working in Open Roads Concept Station wherein I am facing following issues:
1) Static imagery is not getting captured for any location within India......it is working fine for US locations.
2) Terrain is captured but of only low resolution and not of higher resolution.......again this is happening for locations within India.
3) Unable to load KML file

I would like to be able to create a boundary around certain areas of my terrain and have the contours display as dashed. The reason being is the lidar data I am working with is not great in that area so the contours have been massaged to be approximate. I would like the dashed section to show that it was an obscured area but still be able to show something in that area. Someone I know has done this before but did not remember the exact function to do so as it had been a while, they said it was a fairly simple process.
OpenRoads is changing the original text style and font of any text that I try to edit. I installed the most recent version of OpenRoads and downloaded the new workspace and standard files. I didn't create any new levels.

Hi all,
I was experimenting with hatching a component in my cross-section view as shown in this video:
I did get the hatch. But then I had to synchronize my template for some other reason. Now I am not able to remove this hatch from my cross section. The element template associated with the component now shows as none, but still shows the hatching associated with the previous element template.
How do I remove this? I was able to switch the level off but had to do it separately for each cross section model.

I am using ORD 2022 R3 update 1, in Projectwise.
I am attempting to utilize the Item Type Reports to create a Pay Items and Quantity Report. The way our DOT has set up the Item Types is based off their Pay Item numbers. They have also broken everything down into different Object types. When I go to add the different Object / Item Types to my report, I then go and start selecting the columns that I want displayed: Item Number, Description, Unit, Quantity. The issue is that for each object in that report, I have to go in and select those same columns to display the data. The issue is that It will start adding numbers to the "Duplicate" name. EX, "Item Type," "Item Type-1" "Item Type 2", etc. When the report is generated, i have so many columns now.
Is there a way to generate a report with multiple objects and consolidate that data under the same header without creating an -1, -2, -3?
I really just want a report to look like below, but have all the objects in it not just one item type.
Any advice or nudges would be welcomed!

I have a Complex element (complex by element) that is built up from multiple shorter segments.This geometry has the feature def. called "KANTVERHARDING" and is appropriately called "I dislike ORD" (sometimes)
HOWEVER, when I look in the model explorer and look under Linear Geometry -> KANTVERHARDING, I am unable to find the line "I dislike ORD" (sometimes).
Does anybody recognise this problem? Can anybody think of a fix? I have tried refreshing the model explorer, opening and closing it but it doesnt seem to make a difference (there are also multiple lines in this file that have this problem).
