The default 3d model shows line strings in 3d. Just put a fence around everything you want to send them and key in "fence file". This will create a new file with everything contained within the fence....

You can use Microstation do thin your point cloud. Attach las file to 3d dgn model, it will be converted to "pod" format. Then you can clip point cloud, decrease desnisty and export to external file...
