Good morning,
Although I have seen a similar post of this, it doesn't seem to be resolved.
I have modeled a track superstructure for a metro corridor with Power Rail Track SS4. In some parts I have used the clipping reference tool between corridors. My surprise comes when I realize that the "component quantities" tool then it calculates as if the corridor wasn't clipped.
As a solution I have seen the volume that gives the "element information" of the component. It seems that the element clipped is now calculated properly. However, when I compare the volume of a component not clipped and compare it with the "component quantities" value there are difference of a 10% (some times one value is higher and other times the other value is higher).
So, I have two questions:
- What is the reason of the different values in the volume?
- How should be the best way to calculate a corridor if there are clipped volumes?
Thank you in advance.
