the undo is unpredictable at best
I do realize this. Will it become more predictable in the CONNECT edition?

I was able to duplicate the issue where the terrain model exists without showing up. It's quite simple: Construct a single bent plan element. Give it a discontinuous profile. Create a terrain model from just this element. The terrain model exists, but isn't rendered. From here, you can make the profile continuous but it still won't be rendered. From here, delete the terrain model and create a new one with the continuous profile. It'll render fine. Then make it discontinuous at will, and it'll be rendered.
I was unable to duplicate the .NET exception. The fact that you haven't given me a reference number suggests that there is nothing to report. I guess because if lightning doesn't strike twice, it won't strike thrice. But clearly there's an issue; just because I am not finding it doesn't mean it isn't there.
So I guess I have to ask: Am I wasting my time by reporting something that I haven't been able to duplicate?
