I down loaded orhto imagery from a NYSGIS website,
created a new file in micorstation , set my seed file to survey feet, adjusted my geocordinates nad 83 eastern zone,
down loaded usgs maps,
NYS Department of Transportation Raster Quadrangle
(1:24,000 scale - UTM Zone 18, NAD 83)
brought in both the orthoimagry and the usgs,, through the magic of geographics and projected raster attachments the two line up perfect
i down loaded the DEM for the location of the Orthoimagry associated with the aerial Imagery, i use inroads, Import surface from DEM,
it makes a surface,, display perimeter and its no where close to the location of my image on state plane coordinates,, tired transform surface
from metric to survey feet,, no luck did the same, in metric seed file as well,, how do i get this data to all line up?
i have transformed surface using the corned of the raster and the corned of the surface perimeter and phycially moved the surface to match the usgs contours
