I am using OpenRoads Version 08.11.09.832
I have a corridor set up with the appropriate superelevation flags.
I'm having a problem with the colors of the superelevation shapes and the signs ( +, - )
This is my workflow:
I create superelevation lanes for a divided highway. One for each direction (2 lanes wide). I am using -2% for both as per some videos I've seen. The EB shows up Yellow and the WB shows up green.
I do not use the superelevation calculator rather I import a .csv file. An example of the csv file would be:
WB | 1971+05 | -0.02 | LS |
WB | 1975+25 | 0.05 | LS |
WB | 1986+05 | 0.05 | LS |
WB | 1990+25 | -0.02 | LS |
EB | 1972+97 | -0.02 | RS |
EB | 1974+77 | -0.05 | RS |
EB | 1986+53 | -0.05 | RS |
EB | 1988+33 | -0.02 | RS |
All are comma separated.
Am I correct in having both my EB and WB starting with a negative cross slope? When I import the csv I get the following color of shapes (picture attached) The colors do not make sense (they are opposite of what the should be). For example, since the EB is yellow, the curve shown should be orange and not dark green.
The model actually does the correct super when I assign it.
I've tried it multiple ways including having my EB and WB superelevation lanes with +2 percent cross slope, and changing the signs of the csv files but none really are perfect. What am I missing? Thank you.
