I come across problem with volumes for volumetric meshes/components. In my example, I have two components that have different shape depending on whether in cut or fill situation and therefore I use component name override to get single continuous component. Here is picture showing my template:
And here is picture showing mesh transition created by the software (top) and transition that I would expect to see(bottom):
The result of wrongly created transition is that reporting tools (component quantities and element component quantities; I understand the difference between the way these two tools work) give significantly different results. My understanding is this is result of this difference is wrongly created transition.
The question is whether it's known limitation and whether it has been addressed in ORD? I use MX SS4 .878, haven't checked ORD yet.
