[OR] Corridor/template bug: Point that doesn't exist in the template is created by the corridor

I'm not sure where to start with this, but using Geopak SS4 .878, this is what I'm seeing:

Through most of the corridor, I am using Template1 where the corridor correctly creates a point called ES-L-SW as the edge of shoulder where the sidewalk is present on the left. This name is not due to an override; that is the point name given in the template itself.

But over another segment of the corridor, I am using Template2 which should be creating a point simply called ES-L because there is no sidewalk here. Nevertheless, it is creating ES-L-SW. As is true with ES-L-SW, ES-L is also has no name override. For the record, this cannot be written off as an issue of alternative components and display rules. In Template2 there are no alternative shoulder components which might create ES-L-SW--just the one that constructs only ES-L.

Meanwhile, I see also that throughout the corridor it is creating a component called XS-Slopes4-L or something like that. My templates have no component that would be named this, so I don't know where that comes from. The component by this name isn't just a transitional mesh, either. It's continuous over a long range.

Any tips on troubleshooting this issue?
