Using Geopak SS4 .878.
- I key in corridor reattach.
- I click the corridor to be reattached.
- I mouse over the alignment that replaces the current one.
- The status bar suggests that stuff is happening, like processing fonts and what-not. The file that it's processing is a DWG file that is not attached to this file. (But more on this below.)
- Geopak crashes and offers to send the crash data to Bentley.
- I re-open Geopak with the same corridor file.
- I click the alignment I'm wanting to use for the corridor. No processing that I can tell.
- I open Civil Accudraw. For the origin, I use the alignment I'm wanting to use for the corridor. No processing, no issues.
- I key in corridor reattach.
- I click the corridor to be reattached.
- I mouse over the alignment that replaces the current one.
- Geopak crashes.
An idea comes to mind, and it turns out successful:
- I re-open Geopak with the same corridor file.
- I key in accusnap autolocate toggle.
- I key in corridor reattach.
- I click the corridor to be reattached.
- I click the alignment that replaces the current one.
- The status bar shows things are happening again, the same stuff I recall seeing in the previous iterations, but this time it works.
It may be worth noting that the alignment I want to use for the corridor is pegged to certain points on the DWG. But why should this matter with a corridor but not civil accudraw? And why should it crash?
