From my Signature, you may know, I learned working with DGN files on a VAX and IGDS, so I've been using Tentative Snaps so long that I hardly even think about it. I don't know if this is new behavior as I often take advantage of AccuSnap (yes, even this old dog has found it beneficial to learn new tricks). As I was working today, I noticed that often, once I tentative snap to an object, subsequent snaps fails to cycle through alternative, nearby elements. I am finding it often necessary to Reset in order to get a snap to try an alternative element.
I'm working in InRoads 08.11.09.845 with MicroStation o8.11.09.714, in a Managed ProjectWise Workspace. One potential red herring is that I am using the MDL application ACADPAN. But I did unload it and found no difference.
Occasionally, I could use the AccuDraw shortcut O (Reset Origin) and once it moved, after a few repeated snaps, it would jump to a new location, but then it was again stuck.
I am finding that AccuSnap often gives me false Snaps, where it looks like I'm getting an AccuSnap point, but once I zoom, the point is not on the AccuSnap point.
