RE: [CR OR] Need Edit Feature Point Tool for Open Roads

The problem is my start and stop stations occur on opposite ends of the clip element. In other words, I need to start and stop at the same point on my reference elements, but need a gap in the middle of the resulting element. To fix this, I'd need to redefine where my reference element starts and stops, or to break the resulting element into two parts and then adjust the start station of one piece and the stop station of the other.
The reference element was created by others, so its common starting and ending points were already defined. This is another instance where I could export this as an alignment to native and use the native tools to redefine the starting location and then bring it back into Open Roads and now have a workable staring and ending location.
The subject tool is often my go to tool when site grading. Similarly, the Horizontal and Vertical Element tools are my go to tools when dealing with alignments. I believe that many of those tools capabilities are just not available in Open Roads.
The chaining of horizontal and vertical elements may seem very familiar to GEOPAK users, but to us long time InRoads users, they are very foreign and even intimidating. We are not really sure what is happening behind the scenes when trying to perform certain types of edits. But give us the Horizontal and Vertical Element tools and we know that when we are done, we have a horizontal and vertical alignment, what ALG it is in and that is is still the "same" alignment to InRoads that it was before we started.
When I look at how many dependent elements are attached to an alignment in Open Roads, I am afraid to act.
