I am having an issue with an existing SUE file and placing links between nodes. The DGN contains existing SUE nodes and links that have been established for at least 6-8 months. I am trying to place a new link between existing nodes and I am able to start at an existing node but cannot connect to a different existing node. The error "Element Not Valid for Tool" is displayed.
The SUE license is active, the nodes are set to Utility Type "Storm Water" and the Network Type is set to "Storm Water Only", and the link I am trying to use has the same settings as the node.
I can place new nodes and link them using the same feature definitions of the existing nodes and links. I do not want to recreate the file as there are many hours tied into the file.
Any thoughts or solutions are appreciated.
