It's important to be able to visualize what you're looking at in the profile and in the cross sections. Often the cross section view is shown as a pale blue line in the plan view. And often the location along the profile is indicated in the plan if I'm using a tool like Profile Line Between Points.
But too frequently, these lines don't show up at all, but I have no idea what the problem might be to make sure it will work or not work consistently. Any ideas?
