You are probably right. It turns out that I was having real issues with that file. Opening it in a fresh session and immediately opening the Edit Template dialog box was giving me the same empty point editor dialog box. So I created a new file and started yet another new sessions and when I opened the edit point dialog box in the edit template dialog box, all was right with the world.
Upon reviewing the corridor, I determined that all sidewalk widths and sidewalk width transitions were controlled by parametric labels and constraints and the only transition using a parametric constraint was this one problem area. All other transition areas were using point controls. So I was able to hard code the needed width in that one transition area in all of my templates with sidewalks and once I refreshed all of the template drops with the library versions, my file was back to normal and my sidewalk was the correct width in that transition.
