We found that JNC worked in certain situations and we preferred the dash option. Shoot a UP (utility pole) and then, shoot a GUY using GUY-UP and it draws a line from Guy to the nearest UP. Really am not pleased with some of the OR Survey "features".
We may keep our PowerSurvey running as long as possible.
No True XML Report that can create a record of the entire survey including all original codes. We need this to create our Civil 3D survey input files.
That, the missing codes and no way to save a survey using the stroking options - H & V, H only or None.
When collecting an ADA sidewalk ramp that curved, we needed to save with H stroking only to see the actual grades and landing platforms. When saved with H & V stroking, the vertical curves hid the grades as it smoothed out the landing areas onto the sloping ramps. Took me a while to figure that one out.
