Is there any documentation on the optimal setting for Reference Files when modeling in Open Roads?
It seems one best practice is to segregate a number of design elements to separate files to enable multiple users to access design elements as well as to keep from putting all of ones chickens in one basket. Bit with live nesting and settings like Ignore attachment when live nesting, along with Open Roads automatically attaching 3D versions of files as it needs them, there is a distinct possibility of having too many reference files or certainly more than one needs.
So, when modelling when can or should one use...
- Live Nesting
- And at what depth
- Ignore Attachment when Live Nesting
What are the implications of setting any of these settings on the automatic Open Roads Attachments?
The reason I am asking is that apparently one of my models is creating issues for other when they try to add my model as a reference file.
