RE: Survey Point Code with Note

I don't believe that either of the Bentley Survey software support the $1 $2 $0 type of PCODE syntax of Description Keys. Generally, you are better of using the raw data collector files, as most of those support PCODES and Attributes. We code our trees there size and species are attributes. Attributes are more powerful that $1 $2 approach as the attribute can have a name and a value, so you know what the purpose of the additional information is as opposed to having to assume that $1 is the size and $2 is the species.
Bentley has two primary survey software platforms - GEOPAK and InRoads and I am really only familiar with the InRoads side. But they also have a "next gen" survey software called Open Roads which is the successor to both of these platforms and is supposed to allow the use of files that would work in either of the legacy programs.
If I am mistaken, we need some GEOPAK Survey user to explain how this type of coding might be utilized.
