I'd love to embrace the real world coordinates however, lets say I have a bridge that is parametrically tied to an alignment, so its in real world coordinates and when the alignment changes, my bridge follows.... great, except, now my dynamic views no longer have a bridge in them and I have blank drawings. Working with 2D details hides a lot of the problems that working with a 3D model presents. Bentley marketing hides the fact that you have to use reference files to get an actual bridge that you can create contract plans from and when you have reference files, the dynamic views that create the details are at the mercy of the moving content in the reference files.
