I have to agree OpenRoads even in .872 leaves a lot for the asking like quick processing time for small corridors, non-arbitrary crashing, easy editing of alignments without having to export to Native and other things like easier ways to do many things that with SS2 were actually quite simple - like updating cross sections or displaying paving grades. I agree with Derek - I have found some workarounds like exiting my drawing frequently keeping my corridors exceptionally small, exporting to native and back a fair amount. At this point I'm not sure if my company will be continuing to use it or not because it has cost so much lost productivity. I have had corridors corrupted and not know why. It seems like its a great software for modelling if nothing has to change but how often is that?
And about the error reporting - when mine crashes I have to wait for the error reporting boxes to appear twice. Is anyone at Bentley making use of the all the crash reports?
