I represent ROW lines on cross sections using ancillary features, but this can be done only on permanent cross sections, and it has to be re-run every time I cut permanent cross sections.
I'd not only like to see them in dynamic cross sections but also make it so it's trivial to render them on permanent cross sections without ancillary features. (ROW lines are the only ones I use this tool for.)
I've looked at options in Element Templates, but I'm not seeing what to use. For some element templates, I see "Active Points" is filled with character 'X', and when I view this in cross section, it shows the X centered at the point. It looks like that setting is promising, as I can change the value to a cell, but that doesn't work as I expect. When I change the line to use the template, I'm not seeing that cell displayed on the cross sections.
Since it's not working as I expect, how should I expect that to work?
