I am making my first forays into InRoads, and I have to say that I miss my Geopak. Inroads does seem to have some very powerful options, but it is not all that user friendly for plans production. Geopak had a lot of tools I'd use in my detailing (not design, detailing) that I cannot find the InRoads equivalent for.
For example, today's question. How can I find the elevation along a proposed profile at a given station?
With Geopak, it was simple. Open Cogo, and navigate the menus to Profiles, where one of the tool options was Elevation. Select the profile, type in the station and BANG, it gave you the elevation.
I can't find this functionality in Inroads. It would be very useful to me, if someone could explain to me where to find this particular tool, or whatever y'all use to query a random profile elevation.
